I may be the luckiest girl on earth, because when I was young, I had the chance to grow up in two cultures that coudn’t be more different.
During a significant part of my childhood I grew up in a small village not far from tourist hotspots in the tropical island of thousand gods, Bali. But the majority of my youth was spent in the calm and peaceful Swiss countryside, directly by the lake Constance which is shared by Germany and Austria equally.
As if that is not enough, I had the immense blessing to call an amazing traveller and adventurer my hero and father.
Thanks to these happenings I am the person I am today – trying to be as open-minded, as tolerant as possible, constantly searching and discovering new awesome places around the world to lose myself in.
So far on my journey, I have been living and working for 8 months in the Cõte d’Azur, the French Riviera. Istanbul has showed me it’s vibrant beauty and kindhearted people. I felt like a real Parisian girl while inhabiting a small appartement close to the Pont Bir-Hakeim for one summer, during which I also hitchhiked and couchsurfed across the country. Guatemala brought me peace and healing.
Currently I am dipping into the madness of Buenos Aires and its people during one crazy year, while also trying to be academically successful at the local university. This is where I pour our the insights I have gained among the way.
May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.
